Election Day

Today is election day. I don't know who is running. But if my Dad goes out to vote, mebbe I will too.
At least for the NY Governor, who I think should remain as Kathy Hoschul. She's the current governor and should remain in office. I like having a 'woman' governor.

Voted

I just came back from voting. My Dad voted around Noon.
I voted BLUE all the way down. And YES to every proposal.
I'm mad that my Dad voted mostly RED, including the Governor. Though he said he voted for Schumer and Velasquez. And Yes to every proposal.
The 4 proposals:
1. Funds for EPA
2. A Preamble for the NY visionary documents
3. Racial Equity
4. Monitoring the true cost of living

My whole family doesn't belong to a party. We are the Party of NO PARTY.
I couldn't belong to any party because they went after my ass for belong to a certain party or not. I think to belong to a party you need to EARN it. So I'm NO PARTY.

in my HH, do not EVER talk about politics, especially with my Dad. He will eviscerate you if you disagree with him.
just now we almost got into a fight. About Cuomo and Hochul. Thing about Cuomo I want to say is that I find it hard to think he did what they say because he's the Dad of two young daughters. He only has daughters. Or is it 3 daughters? 2 or 3 girls. And he's also an Uncle to nieces. I always thought that because he divorced and didn't remarry right away, that what happened was a vindictive ex-girlfriend and her family that went after him. Because he's a wonderful father. I always thought it had to do with vindictive ex-girlfriends and their families.
But my Dad and I almost got into a fight about that. So I just stayed quiet. Because he started yelling at me.
My Dad knows all NY politics and all politics in general in this region. If you disagree with him he will go after you and eviscerate you.
That's one of the reasons why I don't ever pay attention to politics anymore or discuss it because my Dad and I always disagree and we will argue until he starts throwing things at me.

So I just do social media and listen to music.

I usually never talk about politics. Especially if my Dad is around.
